Butterfly!:)

Today I wanna talk about butterfly.I heard about it in one of the sermons so I decided to share about it in this blog!:)

A butterfly transformed from a cocoon.:)What's a cocoon?According to Wikipedia,a cocoon is a PUPA which is known as the life stage of some insects UNDERGOING TRANSFORMATION!

We,Christians are BUTTERFLIES that transformed from COCOONS that was formerly  CATERPILLARS! 



2nd Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if ANYONE is in CHRIST,he is a NEW CREATION;the OLD has done,the NEW has come!

The fact is butterflies have freedom to fly while caterpillars do not have.So,we are not caterpillar with wings.We are truly butterflies. You were under the control of sins but now YOU ARE FREE as Jesus Christ had died for YOU!Therefore,You are of NEW IDENTITY!  

But what amazed me was...
'Why a butterfly that had changed to a butterfly still behave like a caterpillar?

Why are we still behaving like a sinner when we are already have Christ in US?

Sometimes we live as in we are having the casing of the cocoons and forget we are already a butterfly.The fact that we still have FLESH (our body,old memory,old habits) ,it's tempting us to lead the old ways,to live like how we want and not live the way He wants for us.

A good example would be sexual desire where it is to be satisfied.The flesh would want it so badly that it leads to problems such as pornography addiction but the FLESH satisfaction is only for a period of time.Therefore,we will watch pornography videos again when the need/desire reoccur again.

So,cast this needs unto Lord because He can supply it. In Him,all the needs can be supplied!:)


Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 

So live like a butterfly and not caterpillar.Do not call yourselves 'A worm/caterpillar with wings'..coz you are a butterfly as You are transformed in Him. Run to Him if you have needs that need to satisfied/supplied and not do it in YOUR own way!:) He'll be there because our GOD WILL WORK,CHANGE and TRANFORM You!:)


John 1:12-13
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
