I still remember when I was 9 or 10 , I was sitting at the back seat of the bicycle where my mother bring me home from school. On the way, I saw a 16 or 17 girl sitting at the back seat of the bicycle just like what I did, where her mother was cycling her to a destination.

 Me: Mom, that girl is big enough to sit at the back of bicycle. Why her mother still want to carry her on the back?
Mother: By the time you reach that age, I will also carry you on the bicycle too, just like that mother.

 Today my mom fetched me to church , not on bicycle but on motorcycle . But, I was really delighted. Really really do. I never thought that she will 'carry' me to church and I am 22 now. 

 For a mother who used to oppose her daughter not to go church,now she is sending her daughter to one. The joy in me is..indescribable. She must have starting to accept that I want to be a Christian. 

 It is really marvelously touching to see how God journeyed with me through this. How He already know that this day will happen as long as I am patient with His timing and how He wants me to endure this with faith and prayers. 
Thank you, God.

'Why are you so happy all the time?'

'Do you feel sad before?'

Yes. I do feel sad. Not all the time. Sometimes. Because I am a human. But I don't linger in my sadness. I ask God to help me. I pray. I know I have God by my side. 

 Why am I happy? Because what is the point of being sad? Life is just awesome to be sad. Yeah , I know things are hard at times. So what? It's LIFE. :) It's a journey, remember? There are rocks on the road, where u could stumble upon when you are on a journey.

 Why do I smile all the time? Because smiles can make others smile too? Smiles are gifts. :) 
What is the secret of my joy or happiness?  

It's GOD!!
As when I fall, I have God to hold on unto!!
I know, no matter what happen, He is with me. Even right now, as I write this.. He is with me! Even right now, as YOU read this, God is with you. 
God loves you, yo! :)

HELLO!!! I am Tham Fong Wan , in case you have not know me! I 'm daughter on God , was born on 11 December 1990. SOooo, I am officially 22 years old. I am still very much a child in my heart. I hope so. HAHA. I wanna take this time to thanks EVERYONE that wished me and took their time out to celebrate this AWESOME day with me!!

I would like to thank my GOD for loving me!! For choosing to die for wretch like me. And He gave me so many abundant blessings in my life that sometimes I questioned, 'Do I even deserve this?' . Be it in my family, friends or just daily blessings such as safety while walking back home to dorm. I, thank you Lord for everything You've done for me. :') It's really a GREAT GREAT pleasure to know you, My GOD! *Yays* *Jumps*

And so I started the celebration of my birthday with the Jazz Banders because we had Appreciation Night for Concert and thus, they celebrated King Hui's , Alvin's and my birthday. Threesome!!!

It was simple. BUT BUT BUT it was these people that made it awesome! These people, I've already said so much about them on previous post. They are just awesome like that. When I came back from my room , I received 'Whatsapps' from PHANG CARMEN!!! And she wrote about me again!! ON her personal BLOG!! *TWICE*. Yeah, you've heard me! It's a greater blessing for me to know you. You've taught me so much for going extra miles for me and for people around you. You've did so well in your position now, that when I looked back when you asked me whether you should take it... I really can feel God's BIG plan for you. I am so happy that you are doing His wills and works in USM. And so even happier and blessed to know as a person. Thank you for supporting me when I didn't know what to do, providing me His love and cares when a sanguine like me turned into a melancholy. You are awesome, PHANG CARMEN!! HEHEHEHE!!

 Then, on my birthday itself...in the morning, I've celebrated it with MR WILSON KHOR!! Huhhhhhhhh!! Must be wondering who is that ,right?? This man is an angel. Yeah, he is! He is the one that always taught me to see things in really different perspectives and I am really glad I have the opportunity to be close to him enough to talk to him. He is rare jewel, only can be discovered if you take a step closer to him. 



Thank you, Mr Wilson!! For EVERYTHING.  You are indeed someone who always there for me despite your works. You are like an angel , you know. Always there, standing by! Thank you for your attention and concern upon me. We may be very different but I am really glad we have the same GOD! Thanks bro for getting me the 'Roti Bakar & Eggs & Coffee' in Bayan Lepas with you. I was so glad we made it even though we were lost. HEHEHE!!

In the afternoon,  MATTHEW Kang and AUDREY Wong celebrated my birthday in this heavenly western-like cafe that made my jaw dropped. It was awesome, you know! And I always enjoyed their company. Audrey Wong is just a special soul like that. AND MATTHEW KANG, he is a really kind man!!  SO SOOOOO glad that both of them are my course-mates. Can't really imagine live without them!! Thank you God for Matthew and Audrey as coursemates!

At night, I celebrated with PKA-ians!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! With LOK-LOK!! What is LOK-LOK?? You can see the picture below! 


It's a steamboat-styled buffet dinner that tasted so good! WAHHH!!! I was so glad. SOooo full. Then, we had BLACKBALL as dessert! *Yipppee*.I, sincerely thanks everyone that came that day ; Phang Carmen, Jacquelline Ooi , James Teoh , Sze Jie , Wai Quan and Nicolas! Thank you so much for all the treats and laughter!

 PKA!!! It stands for Persaudaraan Kristian Agape! WOW! To think about this family, it is too overwhelming. I still remember coming in , the first year to now, how everything had changes. I find it amazing how God laid his personal hands to equip and grow PKA members and still laying. Seniors that had gone, they taught me so much. Even Monica Khoo, she had graduated but she called me just to wish me! Nicolas Ng, my junior played ukulele and sang for me ON THE PHONE . *How sweet*... HAHAHA!

After that, I went to Queensbay to watch birthday-movie with ELYSSA , MARY , SHIN AI, ALVIN and CAIN!! We watched Life of PI! They ended up asking me about the movie which was funny ! But I was so glad I can spend my birthday with them! They are sweet people, really! Mary and Elyssa are dear to my heart. Alvin and Shin Ai. (ahemmnn). Blessed Birthday to you too, Alvin! HAHAHA:) Thank you Cain! :)

Midnight Hangout with Miyeko in her room was the last agenda on my birthday itself. Feel good. Like old times. One of my treasured friends . Knew her since orientation week. This particular semester was difficult season for me and her. It tested my friendship with her - how I should react and etc. At first I acted on my own accord just to make her feel what I felt. At the end of the day, I realised I want her back in my life. Thank you , Miyeko! :) You know how awesome you are.  Thank you God for Miyeko. May I continue to be there when she needs me, anytime. May You used me to direct her to You. Thank you Lord! :)







She wrote, ' Think of her everytime I use the toothbrush holder!' . That's a smart move of missing you, Miyeko! HAHAHAHA

The next day, I had my awesome breakfast at MCD with the constant. Who are the constant? It's AUDREY and STEPHANIE! I was so happy that I can spend time with them! It was so awesome. :)

They are the among the first people I've met And they are the constant. Truly, there are struggles we faced but I was glad it happened. Because it strengthen us. :) Thank you God for Audrey and Steph for they have taught me the lessons of friendships even more. Just like David and Jonathan, enable me to love just like how Jonathan did. :) Even, if we have grey hairs, we are still going to be the constant just like in uni's years. :)

I spent my afternoon with two juniors!!! DEBRA and GRACE!! They were so sweet because they treated me to cakes. I felt so loved. HAHA. Because I am a third-year senior. I used to think that I won't have time to know juniors but things happened. These two unique juniors, I really want to see them grow towards God throughout their years in university. I am glad they are in PKA , because it is a platform I've learnt most and I really want them to learn as well. 



Thank you so much Grace for telling me you love me. :) You are a kind soul. Use it for God. I pray that in your third year, You will shine so much that 1st-junior will tell u what you told me. Upon that very day, remember me! 



Debra, you are one unique child of God , that have so much potential to grow. You are in USM because God wants you to bless you. You'll be fine. AND you are extraordinary. You'll shine too for HIM, not for other people to see. But for HIM. :) God is with you, no matter what.

At night, we had our MILO CG WRAP UP and they celebrated my birthday! *Yays*. Thank you so much, my children. :) I am really blessed by God to be a Cell Group Leader and I really pray that I will have more time to know each one of you next sem! :) Thank you, Yi Hong, Elyssa, Stephanie, Lucia, Michelle, Mark, Nicolas , Grace, Sarah , James and Carmen!


Next year, it will be more awesome coz we are so gonna grow towards Him at another level and with each other. HEHE!:)

LILY Yeang gave me a card! Awwwww. My partner for CG!! :) She is shoo nice, you know. I am so glad I worked and shooo sad that she is leaving for internship. I was like 'NOoooo way' but I know God had even greater and wonderful plan for her. She is just awesome. ALWAYS ALWAYS thinking of others! I learnt so much for her. Her sacrificial-self. I am glad to know her even in this short time. You see, God is just wonderful like that. If she is not my partner for CG, I will never able to know a wonderful person like her. Roomie, Catherine Mau gave me a cupcake! :) I know it is just a cupcake and why would I even write about her , right? But she is more than that. She is a blessing to me! I prayed for her existence . I used to have a 'not-really-nice' roomie (I had three different roommates for three semesters ; she is the fourth) and I prayed to God that I need a new one and I got her.  She is always so nice, so funny,crazy., understanding and deep. I love the fact, I can crap with her every night. I will definitely miss her when I leave. :) Thank you , roomie!

That was from Jonathan. :) One of the 'bros' in university. Knew him since first year, through Jazz Band. We had dinner together before he passed me this. It was the FIRST meal we were having in three years in university. Funny though.  I used to think, 'Will he ever know that I was concern about him?'. Now I know that he knew it all along. And I am glad. It's not that I want it to be known. It just that I want him to know it was God that always
stirred my heart to care about him. He is a loyal friend. Someone who I , enjoyed his 'once-in-a-blue-moon' craziness. You are awesome, biawak! I pray that you will grow to RELY on God more and not yourself. Learn to PUT him first and everything will be alright! :)

I just received this, from a man who just came back from India! He was my Cell Group Leader for two years. And I had the privilege to work with him for a year and yet, he had taught me so much. Even though he went away for internship , he was there to guide and just BE THERE when I need him to. And those times, I grew closer to him. He taught me how to be a better and spiritual leader. And now I am leading one, with what he taught. :)

I find it amazing how God laid his personal hands to equip and grow PKA members and still laying. Seniors that had gone, they taught me so much. Even Monica Khoo, she had graduated but she called me just to wish me! Nicolas Ng, my junior played ukulele and sang for me ON THE PHONE . *How sweet*... HAHAHA!

After that, I went to Queensbay to watch birthday-movie with ELYSSA , MARY , SHIN AI, ALVIN and CAIN!! We watched Life of PI! They ended up asking me about the movie which was funny ! But I was so glad I can spend my birthday with them! They are sweet people, really! Mary and Elyssa are dear to my heart. Alvin and Shin Ai. (ahemmnn). Blessed Birthday to you too, Alvin! HAHAHA:) Thank you Cain! :)

Midnight Hangout with Miyeko in her room was the last agenda on my birthday itself. Feel good. Like old times. One of my treasured friends . Knew her since orientation week. This particular semester was difficult season for me and her. It tested my friendship with her - how I should react and etc. At first I acted on my own accord just to make her feel what I felt. At the end of the day, I realised I want her back in my life. Thank you , Miyeko! :) You know how awesome you are.  Thank you God for Miyeko. May I continue to be there when she needs me, anytime. May You used me to direct her to You. Thank you Lord! :)







She wrote, ' Think of her everytime I use the toothbrush holder!' . That's a smart move of missing you, Miyeko! HAHAHAHA

The next day, I had my awesome breakfast at MCD with the constant. Who are the constant? It's AUDREY and STEPHANIE! I was so happy that I can spend time with them! It was so awesome. :)

They are the among the first people I've met And they are the constant. Truly, there are struggles we faced but I was glad it happened. Because it strengthen us. :) Thank you God for Audrey and Steph for they have taught me the lessons of friendships even more. Just like David and Jonathan, enable me to love just like how Jonathan did. :) Even, if we have grey hairs, we are still going to be the constant just like in uni's years. :)

I spent my afternoon with two juniors!!! DEBRA and GRACE!! They were so sweet because they treated me to cakes. I felt so loved. HAHA. Because I am a third-year senior. I used to think that I won't have time to know juniors but things happened. These two unique juniors, I really want to see them grow towards God throughout their years in university. I am glad they are in PKA , because it is a platform I've learnt most and I really want them to learn as well. 



Thank you so much Grace for telling me you love me. :) You are a kind soul. Use it for God. I pray that in your third year, You will shine so much that 1st-junior will tell u what you told me. Upon that very day, remember me! 



Debra, you are one unique child of God , that have so much potential to grow. You are in USM because God wants you to bless you. You'll be fine. AND you are extraordinary. You'll shine too for HIM, not for other people to see. But for HIM. :) God is with you, no matter what.

At night, we had our MILO CG WRAP UP and they celebrated my birthday! *Yays*. Thank you so much, my children. :) I am really blessed by God to be a Cell Group Leader and I really pray that I will have more time to know each one of you next sem! :) Thank you, Yi Hong, Elyssa, Stephanie, Lucia, Michelle, Mark, Nicolas , Grace, Sarah , James and Carmen!


Next year, it will be more awesome coz we are so gonna grow towards Him at another level and with each other. HEHE!:)

LILY Yeang gave me a card! Awwwww. My partner for CG!! :) She is shoo nice, you know. I am so glad I worked and shooo sad that she is leaving for internship. I was like 'NOoooo way' but I know God had even greater and wonderful plan for her. She is just awesome. ALWAYS ALWAYS thinking of others! I learnt so much for her. Her sacrificial-self. I am glad to know her even in this short time. You see, God is just wonderful like that. If she is not my partner for CG, I will never able to know a wonderful person like her. Roomie, Catherine Mau gave me a cupcake! :) I know it is just a cupcake and why would I even write about her , right? But she is more than that. She is a blessing to me! I prayed for her existence . I used to have a 'not-really-nice' roomie (I had three different roommates for three semesters ; she is the fourth) and I prayed to God that I need a new one and I got her.  She is always so nice, so funny,crazy., understanding and deep. I love the fact, I can crap with her every night. I will definitely miss her when I leave. :) Thank you , roomie!

That was from Jonathan. :) One of the 'bros' in university. Knew him since first year, through Jazz Band. We had dinner together before he passed me this. It was the FIRST meal we were having in three years in university. Funny though.  I used to think, 'Will he ever know that I was concern about him?'. Now I know that he knew it all along. And I am glad. It's not that I want it to be known. It just that I want him to know it was God that always
stirred my heart to care about him. He is a loyal friend. Someone who I , enjoyed his 'once-in-a-blue-moon' craziness. You are awesome, biawak! I pray that you will grow to RELY on God more and not yourself. Learn to PUT him first and everything will be alright! :)

I just received this, from a man who just came back from India! He was my Cell Group Leader for two years. And I had the privilege to work with him for a year and yet, he had taught me so much. Even though he went away for internship , he was there to guide and just BE THERE when I need him to. And those times, I grew closer to him. He taught me how to be a better and spiritual leader. And now I am leading one, with what he taught. :)

Dear ; Heavenly Father,

This could be the season of my birthday and receiving love from people. But You are  the one that gave me perfect love and died for me on the cross. You demonstrated Your loves through this amazing people in my life. Bless them , Lord abundantly.  And You gave so many blessings, one upon another. In trials, You had blessed me too. I know that I could run away from you sometimes, Lord. Doing thing that I want and not what You asked me to. But You stood there, faithfully waiting for me . Thank you for these amazing people  You have blessed in my life. May I be the vessel and the boat that goes whenever You want  me to. You shall be the navigator of me that take charge of me.
