I was playing for the convocation as a Jazz Band member today. But the first thought that came to my mind when I was having rehearsal yesterday was 'Next year it will be your turn if you are not selected for the student exchange.' ( I am applying for student exchange and still waiting for the confirmation). My heart skipped a beat.
Because the fact that the time flew so quick that I do not even realised that it's approaching the the end of semester. I was actually worried, you see. I was having McDonald with my Jazz Band friends yesterday and I told them that I might go for student exchange in Australia for a semester and one of them said, 'I will be sad.' Right then,I could not bear to let them go. Having to leave them for a semester, not only them but Persaudaraan Kristian Agape (PKA) and the rest of my uni's friends, that broke my heart. I don't know why.My heart couldn't let go.
A part of me really hope that I will be rejected by the University of Adelaide in Australia and a part of me said,'Well,it's a good experience.' Even my mother is very supportive about it. I applied because I wanted to allow God to decide for me. But playing for convocation today as a Jazz Band members and recalling on how God used me to impact Jazz Band.. I don't know if I am ready to leave all of this behind knowing that I will not join Jazz Band if I return from Australia. I don't know if I am ready to say goodbye to my friends knowing that they will be graduating a semester ahead of me and I would be left with only one semester to spend precious time with them. :'( I don't know if I am ready.
Dear:Heavenly Father,
I don't know Lord on what or how am I feeling toward student exchange program. Even though I said to You that You would the decider for this difficult decision. But my heart couldn't let go of friendships that You've gave me knowing that You have uses me to impact them,to sayang them,to guide them and the same they did to me in return. I don't know Lord if I am ready to let go. I am sorry Lord. But Lord,You have your time for all of the things that going to happen in my life and I believe Your plan is to Prosper me Lord. That in whatever you do Lord, You have Your reasons. Guide me Lord on what to do. For I am really naive and clueless on what to do. But You shall be my guide and way for the race that You have written for me.:) Because I have You, I shall learn not to worry but to cast it unto You. Even when I don't know what to do. Thank you Lord. In Jesus' Name,Amen.

Learnt something beautiful today.
“I'm a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world.”
Quoted-Mother Teresa
Will I be that little pencil? That only acknowledge Him for all the love He have done and not think that it was the great things I have done.
Will I willing to be that little pencil? That will be used by Him to spread love to the world or maybe people around me.
Are you willing to be that little pencil?

''It reminded me of something I'd heard in an interview with my friend Lysa TerKeurst. She said that many people ask how she became a New York Times bestselling author overnight. Her answer was simply, "Through 17 years of hard work. I determined that I would do all that I could do while completely trusting God to do what only He could do."
I'm called to become an increasingly effective communicator for Christ, not so that people can stand in awe of Amy Carroll but so that they can stand in awe of the One I speak about—Jesus. I'm called to help other women to grow too. I can't do that unless I'm a life-long student, learner and worker.
What's your calling? Are you doing the work? My definition in this case is simply moment-by-moment, day-by-day obedience to God's Word and the leading of His Spirit. Some days that will look like moving forward while other days it will be stillness, waiting and listening. ''

Despite our busy schedule in university and not knowing our callings..sometimes the best decision is to follow Him daily, carry His cross and He will lead you, guide you and reveal His plans through His words to You.:) No worries on what you should do. He will tell you. Just lay it unto His hands. Pray, prepare your heart and rest in Him.:)

POSTED ON: 13 April 2012 @ 11:05 PM | 0 comments
How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
-15
Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Never trying because you fail only because you tried. Not trying mean you don’t give yourself a chance to even try.
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Because life is ADEVENTUROUS ride. :)
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
Yes, for me.
What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
Faith. To provide opportunities for people to see Christ as a loving Father, that they are not alone in times of despair.
If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
A missionary and journalist.
Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
Both. But He is in control.
If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
If.... I will do the same thing. Won’t change for a thing.
To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
I allow Him to control because He is my remote control. :) But of course sometimes, I took control and life was a mess. But it was a part of my life too.
Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
Doing the right things.
You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
Was in this position before. I would keep quiet. And pray to God after that. Of course I would lose my admiral and respect on them. If they are close to me, I will talk to them.
If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
Never ever let go of God because He will never let go of YOU.
Would you break the law to save a loved one?
Yes. Worldly law but not God’s law.
Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
Haven’t but heard of.
What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
The way I think-where people think I’m funny, I guess.
How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
Because not everyone have the same background, families, friends and contexts. Everyone is different.
What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?
To become a full-time missionary that spread gospel. Uncertain.
Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Yes.
If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Somewhere less fortunate than Malaysia. Because blessed are the one who is poor.
Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
No. I don’t think so.
Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
Joyful simpleton.
Why are you, you?
Because He is in Me. J
Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
Yes. But I am still improving my weaknesses. Step-by-step.
Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
Losing touch with a good friend who lives right next to me.
What are you most grateful for?
Jesus Christ and Mom.
Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
If I have to choose one, I will choose the never be able to make new ones. Reason:There is ONE memory I couldn’t let go.
Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
Yes.
Has your greatest fear ever come true?
My fear. I don’t know. HEHE
Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
5years old ago. I argued with one of my close friends. She said,’ I never want to see you again.’.No. Because we are still good together but of course, it was challenging for me.
What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
My 6th birthday. Because that was the one of the two family portraits I have and it was on my birthday.
At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
Hmmmm... I don’t have answer for this. I am passionate and alive. HAHA
If not now, then when?
-----------
If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
----------
Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
Yes.By listening sometimes is more than enough.
Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
Because religions are not perfect. It’s confined by law. And human fail to fulfil those laws. But God is perfect.
Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
Yes.
If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
No.
Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
More work that I actually enjoy doing..
Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?
No. Every day is kinda different for me.
When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
3.7.2010.
If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
Family.-Mom,sis and bro.
Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?
No.
What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
Being alive doesn’t necessary mean you are truly living. You can live meaningless life and feel empty. Truly living is when you live for something and it fulfil you even when you are in despair. For me,it’s God.
When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?
When He tells you to.
If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
Because mistake is consequential and cancerous.
What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
I can’t write this down. HAHA. J
When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?
When I had flu? HAHAHA
What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?
Mom. I just shouted ‘Wo ai ni’ to her.
In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that?
Not really. That’s why I write journals,i guess.
Decisions are being made right now. The question is: Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?
I am making them myself with God as an author of my life.

Eyes...
One of the most important organ in our body. But what you see cannot be equated to something you can believe.Because sometimes what you see is not the truth and what you cannot see can be the truth.
Eyes...
It is a privileged to be able to see and to be able to store memories through you eyes. To be able to see your loves' faces, to able to detect their happiness and sadness. To be able view beautiful scenery and enjoy captivating creations of God. So much of what eyes can do.
I have been thinking a lot. Thoughts just rushed into my mind. I am not a thinker by nature. Who knows? Because lately...
'I want to see what others cannot see.'
What do you see?
I see beautiful cloud and sky despite the window's net even though the focus of the camera was on the window's net. Just try to look out of the window. It is just that sometimes, we find ourselves so difficult to see things because of the way that we USED to see things. Yeah, you can see the net and it's blinding you seeing other things but what else? It's that cloud and sky. Even though it's not clear, but it's something else, isn't it?
What do you see?
'I see Strength and Hope',that's the caption for this picture.:)
'I want to see what others cannot see. To see what He can see when others cannot.'
2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

We doubt what we can do. Even to the extend of underestimate our abilities and gifts. Sometimes, we compares ourselves with people who are better than us in things we are capable of. You see, what I've took back from Cheshire was even disabled were able to teach a lesson or two. Why? They are of less condition than us but why they encourage us? Because who they are. Because they use every skills and every ways to continue living. They use everything they can. They make full use of themselves. God wants to use us to establish His kingdom and do His will with everything we possess-our strengths and weaknesses. But why we do not allow Him to make full use of us? Why we do not use every skills and every ways we can to continue to do His works? Such provocative thought. Why some of us even doubt ourselves?
Smile. A smile wasn't easy for this man. To be able to smile despite his disabilities provokes me. You see, I was a stranger. But he smiled with friendliness. But why people in our society do not practice to smile to strangers or people we just met when smile is an easy thing for us to do?
''A smile is also a gift. We may not know who we can impact with our smiles.''
What do you see in this picture? Did you realise the overturned swing? Personally, I like the concept of the whole picture. For me, I think it's pretty despite the overturned swing. It may look normal too. But not every scenery pictures have an overturned swing.
We often frown for obstacles that we can't handle. Often, we forgot that these obstacles(weaknesses as well) made our life. It makes our life-pretty. And each obstacles may be viewed 'normal' but not every one have the same obstacles. You see, some obstacles are meant for some people so that very obstacles could be lessons for people that are facing it. Our lives is kind of short to make every mistakes therefore we learn from other peoples' mistakes too.
