The BEST!!!

POSTED ON: 25 April 2013 @ 10:51 AM | 0 comments

Giving your BEST to God.

This is my quote that going to stay with me for this week or till I learn to apply this in my life. I learnt that I have been taking this life for granted, always finding excuses for myself to do what is Second best. I am delightful that I am finally grasping this truth that in whatever and no matter what I do, I shall do my BEST for Him. It will save a lot of procrastination, time and not taking things for granted. I don't want to serve half-heartedly and live my life not as a champion. I want to live my as a champion for God, to win for Him, to serve Him in everything I do...I shall do my very BEST..!

Colossians 22-25: Servants, do what you’re told by your earthly masters. And don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn't cover up bad work. (P/S: I love the MSG translation)

A true Malaysian.

POSTED ON: 06 August 2012 @ 3:26 PM | 0 comments

Watched Oylmpic's badminton match yesterday. Seriously, I think I only watched less that 5 times in my whole life. But I just want to support Datuk Lee Chong Wei as a Malaysian. I was at a cafe eating 'Chee Cheong Fun' and watched the match with the rest of Malaysian regardless RACE, RELIGION or CULTURE.All of us have only one aim-: To support Lee Chong Wei ; to witness the historic moment when Malaysia win the first Olympic Gold medal.

Sadly, Lee Chong Wei did not win the gold medal.

But throughout that 79minutes of match, I have learnt some lessons. Lessons that I will carry as a Malaysian. A true Malaysian.

First, I learnt that our fellow Malaysians are actually very supportive rakyat. (even the kids). I was watching that match with a bunch of kids. They were like 'Yeahhh. Aiyaaaa.. OUT!!'.. Without realising, that match actually planted the root of loving and supporting our country no matter we win or not. The most important, we support/ encourage our fellow Malaysians that try to win / do something for US-- no matter whether he/she is a sportman, soldier, police, teacher and etc. The power of encouragement and support is huge.

Secondly, it's okay to lose. Attitude matter the most. Datuk Lee cried during the medal-giving ceremony. As a Malaysian, I felt emotional. I felt like you know, it's just 2 points away (21-19) and we were so close to victory. I wonder how Datuk Lee felt. But Datuk Lee won Malaysians' hearts and the world hearts' for trying his HARDEST. It's okay to lose when you gave in everything. Coz God will do the REST.

Thirdly, I am born in Malaysia for a reason. God planted me here.I know other country could provide a better prospect for most of us: in education, salary, living . Come to think of that, it's true.Other county can provide better. But we are here for a reason. Learn to love our country and people, folks. I am tired of listening to racist statement such as ' Na ge Mai Lai Ren' .Datuk Lee played for all the Malaysians not only the chinese in Malaysia. He carried the nationality, 'Malaysia'. How can someone support him but a racist? Every goverment in the world make mistakes. Do not bring the older generation's mistakes into our kids' generation. Be an agent of change. Make a change. Love Malaysia.

1st Peter 2: 13-17
Make the Master proud of you by being good citizens. Respect the authorities, whatever their level; they are God's emissaries for keeping order. It is God's will that by doing good, you might cure the ignorance of the fools who think you're a danger to society. Exercise your freedom by serving God, not by breaking the rules.Treat everyone you meet with dignity. Love your spiritual family. Revere God. Respect the government. (The Message)

Thank You , Datuk Lee Chong Wei!

Learnt something beautiful today.

“I'm a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world.”
Quoted-Mother Teresa

Will I be that little pencil? That only acknowledge Him for all the love He have done and not think that it was the great things I have done.

Will I willing to be that little pencil? That will be used by Him to spread love to the world or maybe people around me.

Are you willing to be that little pencil?

Cheshire-Provoke My Thoughts.

POSTED ON: 04 April 2012 @ 1:17 AM | 4 comments

We doubt what we can do. Even to the extend of underestimate our abilities and gifts. Sometimes, we compares ourselves with people who are better than us in things we are capable of. You see, what I've took back from Cheshire was even disabled were able to teach a lesson or two. Why? They are of less condition than us but why they encourage us? Because who they are. Because they use every skills and every ways to continue living. They use everything they can. They make full use of themselves. God wants to use us to establish His kingdom and do His will with everything we possess-our strengths and weaknesses. But why we do not allow Him to make full use of us? Why we do not use every skills and every ways we can to continue to do His works? Such provocative thought. Why some of us even doubt ourselves?

Smile. A smile wasn't easy for this man. To be able to smile despite his disabilities provokes me. You see, I was a stranger. But he smiled with friendliness. But why people in our society do not practice to smile to strangers or people we just met when smile is an easy thing for us to do?

''A smile is also a gift. We may not know who we can impact with our smiles.''

What do you see in this picture? Did you realise the overturned swing? Personally, I like the concept of the whole picture. For me, I think it's pretty despite the overturned swing. It may look normal too. But not every scenery pictures have an overturned swing.

We often frown for obstacles that we can't handle. Often, we forgot that these obstacles(weaknesses as well) made our life. It makes our life-pretty. And each obstacles may be viewed 'normal' but not every one have the same obstacles. You see, some obstacles are meant for some people so that very obstacles could be lessons for people that are facing it. Our lives is kind of short to make every mistakes therefore we learn from other peoples' mistakes too.

''Your life is beautiful with obstacles that are meant to make your life wonderful for God,Himself is beautiful and wonderful.''

''Kite-runner''

POSTED ON: 11 April 2011 @ 1:17 AM | 0 comments

''Kite-runner''

I thought that this movie was all about flying a kite. But it wasn't.

The setting of this movie was in Afghanistan.I never know that Afghanistan was actually a peaceful place with joy and smiles on people's face. How war could destroy a country or a place in a very short time.I think it's true when it takes years to built a country but few minutes to destroy one.It is not only about destroying country but think about humanity and the victims.

I was rather surprised actually by the whole plot of the movie. It really highlighted the distinguishment between right and wrong.I think guilt really carries itself for the rest on your life.GUILT.In this movie, the lead character(Amir) did a mistake and it carried throughout his life before he saved the man he owed an apology on,Hassan's son.

*But in Christ alone,I know my guilt are over.I had this guilt that were carrying over my shoulder but it was lifted up by HIM.*

This movie opened my eyes on the loyalty on a friend.Hassan was really a good friend. He actually smashed the tomato on his face when Amir asked him to attack him and threw tomatoes on Him.Hassan did not demand anything and he admitted it was his fault even though it wasn't.Why?Because Hassan loves Amir unconditionally. It was so sad.I wept like crazy.

*God gave his life to me and always listen to my complains, brag and forgives me every-time I did something wrong. He never blame me instead he just forgive me and still loves me unconditionally.

I was actually taken aback by the children that have to live in Afghanistan. How they have to live in that cruel environment. They can't study, they don't even have enough nutritions to grow. The time they actually enjoyed was short but it was meaningful for them.

I actually think that this is a good movie. It taught me humanity. It motivated me even more to help the people who couldn't help themselves.I am really living in the world of privileges and all I do,is complain about unnecessary things while other part of this world, they are selling their legs to provide for their family,to hide themselves from being killed,to sneak at night to escape from a country.I felt extremely blessed by God for being in this country,to worship Him every Sunday,to eat what I want,to read Bible freely,to talk about HIM & to study.

I am blessed.Truly.It really motivate me to go around the globe and just helped people who are unfortunate.I can do big things. In God,I know I can do big things.Secondly,I am blessed with my family, friends and even to sleep PEACEFULLY.I am truly blessed.

In the end I would like to conclude this song by Glee.

But God is always in control. But i just wanna emphasize that there are more unfortunate people outside trying to survive each day with hardship. Some of us do not appreciate lives,do not appreciate things around us or even people around us.It is true that when we live in a world of privileges,we are fragile. It is true that when you are weak, you are strong.I just want to remind you that no matter where you are ,God is watching over you.You don't have to imagine.Do something. We are not dreamer. We are born to do things,to live His will.We are the chosen one.=))Do something today.Little things but it will cause greater things.=))
