Two months in university. Spent time with people that I never have the chance with. With new juniors as well. Less time with people that I was close to ( some of them). Different schedule. Different priorities. Before starting this semester, it was all about not letting go. But God always have His ways to work in my life to teach me ' It is time to let go, it is.'. He started by telling me, ' You can't always have things your way, Fong Wan. You have to learn not to put other things that I've blessed you with above me.' Gradually I learnt, not to rely on my strength but His, to let go of my comfort zone.
As that was happening,He also asked me to love despite my unwillingness to love. My unwillingness to love because I can't seem to see my affection being replied the way I want. Then I realised it's all because I WANT it to be in a certain way. It's all because of my selfishness. Love is not selfish. Love is to giving despite anything, without expectation , without judgement ..which is hard to do..but I am learning. :) He is expanding my heart of loving others.
Lastly, I learnt that God is using me and had used me as a vessel to bless me. In all I do, I must be directed towards Him. Just by sitting down ...such a simple action is more than enough than doing all the works and be distracted from Him. That's why I decided to leave USM Jazz Band, after concert. I asked myself, 'Is this what God wants you to do...or is this what you want to do, Fong Wan?' . So much of reluctancy , I begin to use His strength to leave when the time is right. Well, things could be awkward especially when I am free on Monday and Thursday ( Jazz Band practice day). But one step at a time, kays!!:)
So much of an update about me!!Now is pictures time!

1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 : Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails.
Thank you for thy love, Lord for Your Love empowers me to love others just like how You did!:)

Just because I cannot control certain situations doesn't mean I am a failure. Because all I gotta do is to allow God to take over the situations.

Final year. Time is limited. A day could passed so quickly. Sometimes when I stop and look around, I wondered ' Am I doing enough?' , ' Do I want to leave like this?' . Too many things to be achieved, too little time to accomplished. I am not sad. I just want to do what I really want this few months.Honestly, things changed here a little bit. But enough to overwhelm me. At first I couldn't cope with it and wanted to just let it go. Then I learned some lessons through it. My love towards people, I couldn't just give up because of unwanted conditions. As much as I am going through trials that can break me, I believe God is expanding my heart to love others just like He does.
Sometimes I do wonder what did Jesus felt to wash Judas's feet knowing he will betray Him? Why He did it knowing that someone will turn against His back. And then I realised Jesus loves Judas too, despite the betrayal that Judas was going to perform. Hmmm. It made me think though, if I knew things are going to change like now..will I perform the same byspending time, love, laugh , share problems like how I did? And my answer is 'Yes'. Because I cannot choose NOT to love someone knowing things will change.Because deep inside my heart, I still do 'sayang' them.
My heart selfishly want things to stay the same. How can I when God is working in each and every lives around me? Thus, I learned to be grateful. Grateful for whatever that happened, moments that carved smiles my university. Even when sometimes tears unexpectedly fell by itself , it's okay because God allows things change to happen for reasons that I will know it one day. For now, I know that
'I choose to love and able to love....
because God loves me first.' :)

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Busy. Juggling between Jazz Band, PKA and study. Maybe it's final year, I wanna do even more. Wanna achieve even more against the time that flies. Forgotten that I should have time for Him and myself. Room had been a place to sleep and not rest. Buttttttttttttttt.......Hello to my new final year. It was only three weeks but yet lessons kept pouring in. Same old habits need to be kicked off. New bad habits forming, maybe. Hello to the new juniors which at first I do not really wanna spend time with them because I felt the I wanna spend more time with the 3rd and 2nd year. But if I can make instant connection with them, why not?. Hello to another term that will flies fast but learning to do everything by one step at a time.
Goodbyes to seniors that coloured my university. Was talking to Monica. She mentioned about 'It's never goodbye.' It is so amazing that the friendship we are making in university, it's gonna last! :) I am going to practice not saying goodbye to people rather using 'See you again'. It's more positive.
That's some updates from me. Well it's final year, God is still teaching me throughout this final year and prepare me for greater things. Wohoo!!
Senior Graduation Gathering!!:)
Lesley and Jin Bang Graduation Pic!
Both beautiful Jessica and Joanna. SEE YOU!!:)

Someone asked me,A kid broke a bottle of glass. You are his parent. What would you do?
1) Scold him over the broken glass
2) Ignore the broken glass and check on him

That's what God would do too. :)

Neither rich nor poor,
Neither too loving nor too cold,
It's just me introducing my family,
the ones that stood by there timelessly.
My family is weird. Like literally weird. We argued because of T.V programmes. Can you believe that?? My brother loves action / horror movies, my mother loves HOKKIEN dramas, my sister loves MTV and I like everything except what my mom loves. HAHA. We have two televisions at home so we can you know, sort things out. We are pretty much older now, (plus point that I am not at home) so we don't really argue.
We love to laugh. Like crazily with hitting. Yeah, you heard me. Hitting! My brother, sister and I used to wrestled . It's because my brother is bigger than my sister and I, we used to combine OUR FORCES to go against him! *Wohooo* . HAHA. SOooo much of childhood memories, where we loved to imitate characters in dramas and cartoon. We used to build spacecraft (because of Star Trek) with blanket and pretended to move from left to right like we were in outer space.
But my family not only existed for those times that makes me happy, but also for those times where family members are the ones that could understand the struggles and pains I went through. Because we understand, we know and we feel the same way. When one is down, others will pull that only one up.
Not easy for the one who suppose to set footsteps for younger sibling to follow. ( I used to ask, 'Why me??') I learnt from God, mom and friends to do what is right for an elder sibling , to say sorry (which was so difficult) when I hurt my younger siblings and to be humble with a open heart to sister and brother in times of need.
I always believe my family is a gift from God to me. The greatest gift of all- that funny little family I have.

We ate some delicious food. :) I am glad I met Fabienne (the one who stood behind light blue blouse) during my internship. She is a loyal friend and taught me couple of things in friendship. :)

I attended a concert just when I wanted to leave. This time, it's Hacken Lee's . He is a Hong Kong singer, actor and I had the privileged to be a photographer that day.
*BYEEEEeeee*
So much for adapting myself in corporate world, I know what I am good in and not. It's true when people say the working world is different from university world. But I have one more year left to go (or maybe just 8 months), I will cherish everything by one step at a time...starting by waving loves and goodbyes to departing seniors!:)
