What touches me the most.

What touches me the most is not the promises the opposition had made,
Neither the determination of bringing down another party.
But what touches me the most is how determine WE are ; young and old,
To strive,
To go all out,
Even under the pouring rain.
What touches me,
is the realisation that we can stand strong and united,
to stand for what is true and right,
to cry out for justice that was not served,
for the dead that cannot speak,
for the weak that being trampled on,
for the poor that deserve sympathy,
for the voice that cannot be heard.
What touches me,
Is the spirit to march on,
With all that we have,
Even with the fear , the worries and the uncertainties,
Knowing that we are the agent of change,
for this beloved country.
What touches me,
Is that we are marching on,
Step by step
Toward transformation and betterment,
because of the love WE have for this country, MALAYSIA.
and THAT...touches me the most.

The BEST!!!

Giving your BEST to God.
This is my quote that going to stay with me for this week or till I learn to apply this in my life. I learnt that I have been taking this life for granted, always finding excuses for myself to do what is Second best. I am delightful that I am finally grasping this truth that in whatever and no matter what I do, I shall do my BEST for Him. It will save a lot of procrastination, time and not taking things for granted. I don't want to serve half-heartedly and live my life not as a champion. I want to live my as a champion for God, to win for Him, to serve Him in everything I do...I shall do my very BEST..!
Colossians 22-25: Servants, do what you’re told by your earthly masters. And don’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn't cover up bad work. (P/S: I love the MSG translation)

God is not only watching over us and acting on our behalf, but He is REJOICING even though we don't know or see it. It is like someone throwing a party in your favour even though you are not there.
Jared Anderson
This is how beautiful our God, how compassionate and how loving He is for you. I can't wait the day I will be in heaven partying with Him and know that I have finish the race with joyful smile of His face.
For now,
I'll be faithful till death so that My Heavenly Father will give me crown of life. ( in ref. of Rev 2:10).
My country, Malaysia.

Remembered it was in the PLAN 11 back in 2011 that I sang Malaysia anthem, Negaraku with full of love and dedication that declares Malaysia is my country and I love Malaysia for the first time.
Jesus loves Malaysia. My God loves Malaysia and its people.
And because of that, I will not sit still , being feared and not do anything. I will continue to march on with all I have to stand strong in Him and with Him for this upcoming election. If you ask me honestly 'Why change the government?'. It is not because they ruled too long but because I want OUR voices to be heard. It doesn't matter who rules the country but I want a government that listen to the cries of his people and to sit down with his people and take time to do what is BEST for his people.
It is not because of the race differences, not because of the religion differences, not because the historical background differences..it is because it falls to only one thing , we are all HUMAN and we deserve all the equal rights and privilege as human.
The leaders that I hope and pray for is the leader that will think of his people, love his people and would even sacrifice himself for his people despite whoever and which race because that is the leaders that will put his people first.
I remembered watching Lincoln (Abraham Lincoln biography movie), with his famous quote 'Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth.'. He managed to lived this quote by breaking the chain of American African being the slaves. He even sacrifice his sleep to think of the way to use all he can to stop the Whites from using the Blacks as slaves. He stood for equal right even though he , himself is a white. Today, Barack Obama is the first American African President and yes , it came from a long way since 1861. But it is all worth it, isn't it? Because everyone deserve to be treated Human with the same rights, truth, love and attention and care.
In this crucial time, let's us not sit at our comfort seat and watch these things that happens around and do nothing about it. Simple things such as pray unceasingly for our beloved nation, share the information that it is important is more than enough. Walk the talk!
Greater things are yet to come if all of us do our part as Malaysians. Don't look away. Change yourself too if you want the change in Malaysia. The future generation depends on you too. You too , can make a difference in this country starting today.
' I don't stand at white's side. I don't stand at black's side. I stand at God's side.' (Bob Marley)
'I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.' (Abraham Lincoln)
'Be a good citizen. All governments are under God. Insofar as there is peace and order, it’s God’s order. So live responsibly as a citizen.' (Roman 13:1; Message Translation)

Packing Process
POSTED ON: 17 April 2013 @ 12:54 AM | 0 comments
'When you travel to another destination, you don't bring EVERYTHING with you. You pack what is the most ESSENTIAL to bring with you to the other place. Not because you don't want, but because you can't. Too many load , it makes it hard for one to travel.'
I heard that from a wise woman about closing a chapter in your life before sailing to the next one. So, who do you want to bring , to journey along with you for the rest of your life? Why? Is it mutual in thought, action , understanding and love? What values that you want to keep that you've learnt and what do you want to throw?
Think about it. :) Let God be your guide. *smile*

Jesus Loves My Family Too! :)
POSTED ON: 13 April 2013 @ 11:57 PM | 0 comments
I love USM. In fact, this lovely place had become my comfort zone. But when it's time to leave, I pray that I will not let God down with everything He had taught me. When it's time to go back the home that I left for three years, I pray that I will manifest Him and His love to my beloved family, to declare to them through actions that it is God that had changed me. Hopefully, they will see Him in me. I will do anything for my family to know He is my Lord, my Saviour and He loves them too. :)
Micah 6:8 : He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Escape!!!
POSTED ON: @ 7:11 PM | 0 comments
*Yays*. I went to Escape. *pat myself*. It is a theme park consist of monkey business with three levels of adventurous obstacles that you have to overcome and many more other activities. Monkey business ranged from the easiest (Level 1) to the most diffcult (Level 3). So, it was a sunny Friday morning that I've decided to go with my chemistry friends, right after coming back from graduating Langkawi trip with Steph and Aud.
And so, I am writing not to brag about how well I did with Escape, about how brave was I..how it was so enjoyable accomplishing all three levels.I am here to to tell you I was really scared overcoming those obstacles even though I know I was protected by the chain-like used for flying
fox.
fox.
The protection chain.
Especially during the first level. It is like I couldn't trust the capability of the protection, how it will always catches me even if i fall. So I was struggling believing how safe I was, at first level. I think in life, sometimes even though we know God is there to protect us , to bring us through it , we struggle believing that He will. Life with God in Christianity is not one way relationship. You have the privilege to say 'Yes' or ' No'. As much as God is always there to give us His best, are u willing to just trust in Him, with faith to just GO for it?
When I was up there wanting to jump down, I was shouting inside my heart ' God help me, please God.' When I finished it, I was like, 'Yays, that was not as hard as I thought'. It's so true especially when we face with obstacles in life itself..sometimes all it takes it just a decision to just go for it, listen to what God says. He said He will be with you. So, just enjoy the ride.
I had the worst experience but the most worthwhile ones when I did the third level of monkey business. At first I was so pumped and I was quick to finish one of the third level. ( there are three routes in three levels). I didn't even rest and I headed for the MOST DIFFICULT monkey business. and guess what, I was STUCK twice. I guess I should have rest at first. But I was so excited that I forgot 'rest'. Rest and reflect in life is important as well. When God created the world, the seventh day was for rest. So, I think I have to learn to rest in life and not so much of being so excited to do works for God and forgot to spend time with Him.
When I was stuck twice, I was really tired. My physical body told me, 'You cannot do it, Fong Wan.' My brain tells me, 'You can. You are born to do this.' And I was really really really tired. Twice, I asked for RESCUE and twice I managed to get up just before they came to rescue me. At first, I told them..'No, don't rescue me. I wanna do this myself.' By as time goes by, I tend to give up more easily. It is true that in life as we walk for so long, we give up what we desire initially. We were not brave as how we used to be. Maybe because the journey of life itself is windy and long. Sometimes disappointments of getting up itself requires too much strength, and it is okay just to stay 'stuck' because it is easier that way. But you know you can get up, it is whether you want it or not. If God had prepared you for this challenge, believe me when I say, He will bring you out of it.
Spot me? Was sitting on the rope!
One more, friend's encouragements are stronger than you think. The way they gives you a thumb up when you finish the race, the way they say, 'You can do it! One more!' , how they scold you when you gives up half-way..I hope to be that friend for my friends. :)
Friends that encourage.
When I was hanging up there too, there was this UK little boy asked me ' Are you okay? Do you need help?' , I said, 'No, I am okay here.' .He responded, ' Do you know you will die if they don't rescue you?'. I said, ' Never mind. I have God.' . HAHAHA. What a respond?'
So, that was some bit of lessons I learned from Escape Theme Park. Good experience. Good companion. Safe and sound. Reminded me so much of God, which I didn't know why. Gonna apply this in my life,
